Exploring Different Photography Styles
Finding
My Own Creative Voice
When I
first picked up a camera, I was fascinated by the idea of capturing moments,
but I had no idea what my unique style would be. Over time, I realized that
photography is not just about clicking pictures—it’s about storytelling,
emotions, and creativity. Finding my own voice in photography has been a
journey of exploration, trial, and discovery. Through my work at Rupkatha’s
Snapscape, I have experimented with various styles, each one teaching me
something new about my passion.
Trying It
All: The Beauty of Experimentation
In the
beginning, I didn’t limit myself to one style. I tried everything—portrait
photography, landscapes, street photography, and even abstract shots. Each
genre has its own charm. Portraits allow me to capture emotions, landscapes
bring out the beauty of nature, and street photography helps me tell real-life
stories. By experimenting with different styles, I started understanding what
excites me the most and where my strengths lie.
The Power
of Light and Colors
One of
the biggest lessons I learned was how lighting and colours can completely
change the mood of a photograph. Playing with natural light, shadows, and
reflections helped me add depth to my work. At Rupkatha’s Snapscape, I showcase
some of my best shots where light plays a key role in bringing out emotions in
an image. Whether it’s the golden glow of sunset or the dramatic effect of
black-and-white tones, mastering light has helped me shape my creative voice.
Finding
Meaning in Every Shot
At
first, I focused on taking ‘technically perfect’ photos. But I soon realized
that photography is not just about sharpness or composition—it’s about meaning.
A simple street scene, a candid laugh, or even an empty road can tell a
powerful story if captured with the right perspective. This realization helped
me bring more emotion into my work, making each shot feel more personal and
unique.
Showcasing
My Style at the Best Art Gallery in Kolkata
When I
finally started recognizing my creative voice, I knew I wanted to share my work
with the world. That’s how my journey led me to launch Rupkatha’s Snapscape, a
space where I could display my photography
and connect with art lovers. It was a dream come true to see my pictures displayed
in a place that many now call the best art gallery in Kolkata.
The
Journey Continues
Even
though I have found a style that reflects my vision, my journey as a
photographer is far from over. Creativity evolves, and so does my perspective.
Every new experience, place, and person I photograph teaches me something
fresh. My goal is to keep growing, experimenting, and sharing my vision with
the world. If you’re a budding photographer, my advice is simple—explore,
experiment, and most importantly, have fun! Your unique style will develop
naturally over time. And who knows? Maybe one day, your work will be showcased
at the best art gallery in Kolkata, just like mine!
